Paolo Di Dondo, better known as Paolo Uccello, acquired his nickname from his love of painting birds. In 1443 he painted the figure of Sir John Hawkswood, a fourteenth century knight errant, for Florence cathedral, the first equestrian painting of the Renaissance. Most of his work consisted of frescoes, few of which have survived intact, but also pinnated temporal on pane, sufficient of which have come down to posterity to reveal Uccello as a master of perspective and foreshortening. Download Uccello HD now, and enjoy the comprehensive collection in 6 categories.
